OTTAWA–If the Congress and the President wants to know how to cut the federal budget, they need to look to the local cities for an example. Ottawa City Manager Richard Nienstedt says he’s been part of city government for over 30 years, and problems get solved on the local level. He says the President and Congress are manifesting a real failure of leadership.
