OTTAWA-The Ottawa Police Department has arrested two suspects for the Aggravated Robbery at Dollar General on 12/06/2011. Officers and Detectives from the Ottawa Police Department, Franklin County Sheriffs Office and Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit assisted with the investigation and apprehension of the suspects. Detectives received information that led to the arrest of Kyle White, 18-year-old male from Ottawa and Christian Ream, 20-year-old male from Ottawa for the crime. Both are currently held in the Franklin County Adult Detention Center pending a court appearance for formal charges. According to Lt. Adam Weingartner, Public Information Officer and Patrol Division Commander, “The quick resolution of this crime is a direct result of assistance from the citizens of this community. The department would like to thank the public for being partners with us in solving this crime.” Some property taken during the robbery has been recovered. Detectives continue to investigate the case.
