PRINCETON – A 45-year-old Rantoul woman told the Franklin County Sheriff’s office Wednesday that she was the subject of a road rage incident at U.S. 59 and Rock Creek Road. She told officers that an driver, who she identified as a man from Richmond, made a throwing motion at the vehicle she was driving. She said the man has had a vendetta against her son. She was driving her son’s car at the time the incident occurred. The sheriff’s office said she had no phone number for the man and had a vague address for the man. The sheriff’s office checked the address but there was no man she had identified.
