KANSAS CITY — The Kansas City Chiefs have announced they have fired head coach Todd Haley. The Chiefs announced Haley’s ouster on their Web site this morning. Both chairman and CEO Clark Hunt and general manager Scott Pioli said the Chiefs haven’t made enough progress under Haley’s tenure. The Chiefs were AFC West Division champions last year but floundered this year. Kansas City was 19-27 during Haley’s time as coach. The Chiefs will hold a news conference to discuss Haley later today.
