RICHMOND — Yes, red meat has lots iron. Maybe some steel as well. Wade Whitaker, 30, Lane, was driving west in the 3000 block of Cloud Road north of Richmond when he hit a cow Thursday night, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office said. The cow wasn’t injured and it returned to its pasture. The sheriff’s office said Whitaker wasn’t injured but his vehicle received more than a thousand dollars in damage.
