OTTAWA — A judge has rejected an appeal by Marshall Dean Silvey, Jr., not to have to register as a sex offender. Silvey is the former Ottawa High School custodian who pleaded no contest to attempted eavesdropping for putting a video camera in the girls locker room. He received six months in jail and 12 months of probation and Judge Thomas Sachse rejected Silvey’s appeal against being on the sex offender registry for 10 years.
