OTTAWA — Lincoln Elementary School was honored for being one of the top schools in the state during the Ottawa school board meeting Monday night. Lincoln fourth- and fifth-grade classes received certificates for the state’s Challenge Award given to the top 60 schools in the state. A lot of the success to goes to the new MTSS process, in which teams of teachers and counselors comb over test results and tailor individual solutions to students’ learning problems, Supt. Dean Katt said.
