OLATHE — A Gardner man was taken to Olathe Medical Center for examination of possible injuries after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on I-35 near Santa Fe Road in Olathe. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Patrick Yelton, 66, Spring Hill; was driving north on I-35 but lost control of his car because he was driving too fast for the wet roadway conditions. His car hit a car driven by Michael Hill II, 40, Gardner. Hill reported possible injuries. Yelton wasn’t injured.
