OTTAWA-If you’re looking for holiday entertainment for all ages, look no further than Act Ottawa’s production of “A Christmas Carol.” The show includes special effects and actors ranging from six – 66 years of age. Director Marilyn Pilkey says this production is probably unlike any other version of the show you’ve seen.
“We watched, I think, every version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ that’s ever been made movie-wise and we just picked all the scenes from the book, from the movies, that really tell the thread of Scrooge’s life and how he’s gotten where he’s gotten.” Pilkey said. “It’s very touching, I mean there’s not dry eyes out there.”
The curtain rises at 7:00 tonight and tomorrow night at Peters Audutorium on Ottawa University’s campus. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or the day of the show. You may find more information online at www.actottawa.org
