OTTAWA — A traffic accident late Friday night was the green light to go for some Ottawa teenagers. Ottawa police said Miranda Carter, 16, Ottawa, was turning in the 1300 block of South Ash when she was struck by a vehicle driven by a 14-year-old Ottawa boy. He got a ticket but his passengers got hot-footing. Police said the passengers boiled out of the vehicle and ran from the scene before they could react. Police say they’re looking for them. A gas line and a city utility pole were broken as a result the accident.
