OTTAWA- Franklin County Commissioners approve the installation of a video arraignment system. Franklin County Administrator Lisa Johnson says this will be very beneficial as the equipment will allow juveniles to appear for non-evidentiary type proceedings without having to be transported
“This is, showing my own bias, really an exciting step forward,” Johnson said.
The system is funded by the Sheriff’s office, District Court and Juvenile Facility Project and will cost just under $26,000.
