VASSAR — A 26-year-old Ottawa man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on K-268 east of Vassar in Osage County Thursday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Joel Sobba was driving east on K-268 when the passenger-side tires of his Jeep dropped off the pavement. Sobba lost control and skidded into the south ditch and his Jeep rolled several times and came to rest on its wheels facing northwest. Troopers said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Stormont Vail Medical Center in Topeka.
