OSAWATOMIE — The cause of last week’s fire that destroyed a mobile home in northeastern Osawatomie has been under investigation. The Osawatomie Graphic reported a neighbor called in the fire at the mobile home of Wendy Bechtel, 303 Lincoln Ave. Firefighters said the front of the mobile home was engulfed, and flames were shooting out the rear windows when they arrived. No one was inside the mobile home at the time of the fire. However, three puppies were trapped inside.
