OTTAWA — Franklin County commissioners approved a $45,000 contract with the city of Pomona to provide police service for that city next year Wednesday.. Sheriff Jeff Curry told that there are no changes in the contract from this year. The county guarantees a minimum amount of patrol time in Pomona, with deputies enforcing state, county and city regulations. However, Curry said that Pomona and the county will likely renegotiate the contract for 2013.
