OTTAWA- After a few months of shock and wonder, the autopsy for Deputy Russel Geist has been released. Deputy Geist passed away October 12th after being admitted into the hospital for kidney stones. The autospy shows that Geist died a natural death, likely from a heart condition that went undetected while he was living. Franklin County Attorney Heather Jones says his family wishes to thank the public for their continued support during this difficult time.
