OTTAWA — A 12-year-old bicyclist was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital Saturday morning after he was struck by a hit and run driver at Jackson and Llouisiana roads southwest of Ottawa. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said the boy, who wasn’t identified, was riding east in the 2000 block of Jackson Road when a dark blue car going west hit him. The driver fled the scene. The sheriff’s department said it hasn’t located the car or driver.
