OSAGE CITY — For the new year, Osage County has a new ambulance service. Osage County EMS is now operated by TECHS, Inc., a Holton-based private company. TECHS also operates the Jackson County EMS. Under the contract, the company hired ambulance staff and will train the county’s First Responders. The Osage County EMS also has a larger number of ambulances and stations at Osage City and Carbondale as response to previous complaints about ambulance service.
