WELLSVILLE — An 18-year-old Rantoul woman was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital and released Friday morning following a minor-injury accident on K-68 at Vermont Road. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said Mariah Hodges of Rantoul was driving west on K-68 when she tried to turn onto Vermont Road. The sheriff’s office said d Frederick Striley, 78, Independence, Mo., was driving a semi-truck west on K-68 and was trying to pass Hodges and struck her car when she turned. He wasn’t injured.
