OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office received reports of three thefts Friday. A Rushville, Mo., woman reported that burglars took items from her property in the 3800 block of Nebraska Drive northeast of Ottawa. There was no immediate estimate of the loss. A 29-year-old Pomona woman told the sheriff’s department that another woman, who she identified, stole approximately $500 worth of CDs from the 200 block of East Second Street in Pomona. Officers were trying to contact the other woman. A 23-year-Ottawa man reported someone stole several engines from his barn in the 3400 block of Cloud Road west of Lane. The loss was estimated at $5,000.
