LAWRENCE — A 40-year-old woman was sentenced in Douglas County District Court to one year on probation in connection with an arson fire in Baldwin City last May. The Lawrence Journal-World reported that Rose Mary Pettibon, who now lives in Doniphan County, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor criminal damage to property in connection with the fire at a Baldwin City house. Pettibon must continue receiving mental health counseling and treatment. She will also be required to pay restitution.
