COLONY — A 19-year-old Colony man was hospitalized as a result of a one-vehicle accident six miles north of Colony Tuesday afternoon. Anthony Ellis was driving his SUV south on the Old Welda-Colony Road, when he lost control and entered the east ditch, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. His SUV rolled and struck an embankment. He was taken to Anderson County Hospital in Garnett.
