KANSAS CITY — Never get between a biker and his motorcycle. The Kansas City Star reported thaT when a motorcyclist pulled into his driveway Tuesday night, two men approached him. The biker told police one of the men punched him in the face several times and the second man hopped on the motorcycle and tried to start it as it rolled down the driveway. While the biker struggled with the first man, he yelled for his wife, who brought a gun outside to him as the suspects fled. The biker fired several warning shots into the air, and the second man dropped the motorcycle in the street. They jumped into a getaway car. Police officers chased the getaway car for 21 blocks, sometimes at speeds up to 100 miles an hour and through several red lights. The car crashed at a busy intersection, where police arrested four people. Dijon Dixon, 23, and Michael Miller, 34, were charged in connection with the incident. The Star reported Dixon and Miller both denied committing a robbery but admitted they were drinking beer prior the chase.
