PAOLA — The Paola City Council has two seats up for election this spring. Those seats are for wards 2 and 4. Ward 2 is represented by Gee Gee Wilhoite, and Ward 4 is represented by Mark Minden. Candidates must file by noon Jan. 24 with the Paola city clerk’s office. The filing fee is $10. Informational packets for candidates can be picked up at Paola City Hall and is also on-line at www.cityofpaola.com.
