TOPEKA- Now that we’ve had a taste of real Winter weather, it won’t be long before the utility bills start showing the cost of it. The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services will be accepting applications for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program from Wednesday the 18th until the end of March. The LEAP program helps qualifying households pay for Winter heating bills. To get more information on the program and if you qualify visit www.srs.ks.gov
