GARNETT — The Garnett Public Library’s 11th annual adult reading program begins today and goes through Febr. 24. A kick-off party is tonight at 7 in the Archer Room at the library. There will be refreshments, an explanation of the program, a get-acquainted activity and a prize or two. Everyone 18 years of age and older is welcome to take part. Reading a minimum of five books will make readers eligible for the grand prize drawing.
