OTTAWA — A grass fire Sunday afternoon that spread to a farm structure at Nebraska and Rock Creek roads southeast of Ottawa caused an estimated $40,000 in damage. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said the structure was full of lawn mowers and other equipment. The structure and the items in it were destroyed. It was one of two fires Sunday. Firefighters were called to a fire at a home in the 200 block of South Louisa Street in Williamsburg Sunday night. The sheriff’s department said a deck was damaged. The damage was estimated at $300.
