BURLINGTON — A 45-year-old Garnett man was hospitalized following a one-vehicle accident northeast of Burlington early this morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Darren Simpson was driving west on 16th Road at Quail Road when his pickup left the road and went into the north ditch. The highway patrol said his pickup skidded and rolled an unknown number of times and landed in a creek. He was taken to Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.
