GARNETT — Two more candidates have filed for Garnett City Commission, bringing the total to four. The two newest candidates are Mark Magner, U.S. Army veteran and Washburn University student, and Preston Peine, USD 365 IT director. They’re seeking the seat now held by Mayor Mike Norman, who has also filed for re-election. The fourth candidate is Randy Kennard, who works at the Tradewinds Bar and Grill in Garnett. The deadline to file is noon Tuesday.
