OTTAWA — Instead of doing one big project, this year the Ottawa Youth in Government program plans on doing several smaller projects. During Monday’s city commission study session, YNG representatives said that reducing the drug and alcohol addiction rate among students, and getting more high school students to graduate instead of dropping out would be major goals. Also on the agenda is getting more high school students to graduate instead of dropping out.
