TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Transportation has selected seven construction projects for those areas that have corridor management plans. Two of those projects are in this area. KDOT will rework the intersection at U.S.56 and High Street in Baldwin City. High Street will be re-aligned so it intersects U.S. 56 at a 90-degree angle. The project also includes the construction of left turn lanes on U.S. 56. KDOT will make intersection improvements at K-68 and Metcalf in Louisburg including new turn lanes and a new traffic signal.
