PAOLA — A Paola business couple is being sued by their partners over how they spent company funds. The Miami County Republic reports that a Miami County jury has been hearing a lawsuit by the partners in three businesses against Ernie and Susan Pratt, who own Pratt & Associates in Ppaola. The plaintiffs are seeking slightly more than $1.3 million from the Pratts. The plaintiffs charge the Pratts used a variety of ways to funnel money from the companies to their own personal and accuse them of exorbitant management fees, fake administrative expenses, funny bookkeeping and phony business loans. The paper said the Pratts won’t comment until the end of the trial.
