PRINCETON — A fire destroyed a farm workshop in the 1900 block of Nebraska Road northeast of Princeton early this morning. Lincoln-Ottawa-Harrison Township fire chief David Gibbs said the fire also destroyed shop equipment, power tools and other farm-related equipment. There was no immediate estimate of the damage, he said. About 15 volunteer firefighters from the LOH, Ohio and Williamsburg township departments fought the fire. It wasn’t immediately known why the fire started, Gibbs said.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s office reported a 26-year-old man living at the nearby house saw the fire and called 911.
