OLATHE — Johnson County commissioners have advised the Johnson County libraries to prepare for stiff budget cuts for next fiscal year. The commissioners said the county’s property tax revenues have declined. Library officials said that the Johnson County library in Edgerton could be one of three libraries to be closed. The Johnson County Library’s Kasey Riley said the libraries have seen increased use since the economic downturn.
