OTTAWA — The Ottawa University theatre department will present the play “Desdemona” by Paul Vogel at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23-25 in the Larry D. Peters Auditorium on the OU campus. “Desdemona,” turns Shakespeare’s classic play “Othello” upside down from the point of view of the three main women characters, Desdemona, Emilia and Bianca, who are seen in the back room of the palace. The cast includes OU students Shelby Winfrey, Kaitlyn Johnson and Wendy Lench. Kansas University doctoral student Lynn Deboeck will be the guest director. Tickets are $10, $5 for senior citizens and high school students. The play contains adult themes.
