OSAWATOMIE — Retired educator and former Osawatomie city councilman H. Dean Brown has died at the age of 74. He died at Emeritus of Overland Park after battling with dementia. A long-time teacher and administrator, Brown was Osawatomie High School principal for 20 years and one year as co-school superintendent. His funeral was Sunday afternoon at the Osawatomie High School auditorium.
