OTTAWA — Gene McAdoo would have been proud. After he died recently just one shy of making 200 donations, his family asked to dedicate Wednesday’s Franklin County Red Cross blood drive to his memory. Red Cross volunteer Joe Rich said the blood drive in Ottawa had a goal of 80 units but received 102 good units. He said 115 donors showed up, many of them first-timers.
