TOPEKA — In addition to highway projects related to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe intermodal center between Gardner and Edgerton, the Kansas Department of Transportation has approved improvements elsewhere in the area. A bridge on K-7 seven miles north of the north junction of K-52 in Linn County will get repairs. In Douglas County, the list of projects include improvements and bridge repair on County Road 1374, repair to the K-10 bridge over the BNSF railroad in Lawrence near Haskell University, and resurfacing K-10 from the I-70/Kansas Turnpike junction southeast to the south junction of U.S. 59.
