OVERLAND PARK — A 35-year-old Gardner woman was taken to Shawnee Mission Medical Center for examination following a one-vehicle crash in Overland Park Friday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Amy Larkins, Gardner, took the north-bound I-35 ramp to get onto north-bound I-635 but didn’t negotiate the curve. Her SUV went off the right side of the road, struck sign post and she overcorrected and went off the left side of the road down an embankment.
