POMONA — Rural firefighters were called to a reported house fire in the 2300 block of California Terrace between Pomona and Williamsburg Monday morning. However, assistant Pomona fire chief Alan Radcliffe said the fire was caused by a wood stove in the house’s basement and was put out before firefighters arrived.
