OTTAWA – An architect working for the county said the juvenile detention center should be done this spring on time. Except for certain special windows, the building is enclosed and the heating and ventilation system is operating, he said. Workers are preparing to apply coverings to the floor. The interior door locks and security system remains the most important part remaining to be dealt with he said. The juvenile detention center is being built next to the old Neosho County Community College building at Second and Beech.
