GARNETT — Five Anderson County teenagers are likely to make an appearance in teen court in Ottawa. The Anderson County Review reported that two 17-year-olds, two 16-year-olds and a 13-year-old were arrested in two separate traffic stops in Garnett last week and found in possession of alcohol. Anderson County Attorney Fred Campbell told the Review he is remanding the cases to the youth division of Fourth Judicial District Community Corrections. Teen court is an option for teenage first offenders as long as the charge is not a felony.
