COLONY — A Crest High School math teacher resigned his position last week after an investigation into his possession of school property apparently resulted in no charges being filed. Phil Moody, who has been a Crest teacher for nearly 10 years, told the Anderson County Review he had been suspended several weeks ago with after a family member made a report to the school district regarding district computer equipment. Moody is a computer hobbyiest and did a number of technology-related functions for the Crest district. He had no comment about his resignation. Crest Supt. Jerry Turner confirmed Moody was no longer employed at Crest, but had no other comment.
