HARRIS – A couple accused of growing marijuana at their home near Harris home last year have taken different paths in their approach to fighting the charges against them. Monica Gundelfinger and Bryan Alley each were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, no drug tax stamp and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia occurring last year. The Anderson County Review reported that an investigation involving local agencies and Overland Park police led to a search of their house April 26. Officers said they found 108 marijuana plants and an elaborate indoor marijuana growing operation; and more than six pounds of processed marijuana valued at more than $100,000. Gundelfinger is fighting the charges and her next court hearing is March 22. However, Alley accepted a plea deal and was received 18 months of probation and was ordered to pay fines and court fees.
