OTTAWA – You should have your Franklin County appraisal notices now or should receive them today or Tuesday. Appraiser Phil Dudley saids a little more than 14,000 notices were mailed on Thursday. If you don’t receive your notice by this coming Friday, you should stop by or contact the appraiser’s office for another copy, he said. If property owners have questions or wish to schedule an appeal, call the appraiser-s office at 785-229-3480. Property owners may also e-mail questions to [email protected]. Property information can be viewed online at the Franklin County appraiser property search Web site by going to www.franklin.kansasgis.com. Informal appeals will be held beginning March 26th and going through April 27th. The deadline to file for an informal appeal is March 30th.
