OTTAWA — Maybe it was better to stay at the hospital instead. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a report of a woman who left Ransom Memorial Hospital’s emergency room before she could be seen and treated for a possible drug overdose early this morning. Deputies later spotted the woman driving a vehicle and turning into a driveway in the 600 block of North Main Street. Officers booked Cassandra Hamilton, 25, Pomona; into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs. Bond was set at $1,000 and she was ordered to stay in the jail for at least 12 hours.
