OSAWATOMIE — Ryan Crowley has been named recreation director for Osawatomie. Crowley had been interim director for about five months and had been Osawatomie parks foreman for three years. With the promotion, he told the Osawatomie Journal that he can now start developing new programs for the parks and recreation department. He said he plans to work on projects in coordination with the Miami County Family YMCA, including a strong-man competition at the John Brown Jamboree and a summer football camp.
