KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The final Second Saturday by the Grinter Stove is Saturday from 11 to 3 at the Grinter Place State Historic Site, Kansas City. Jessie Hope will present “The Quindaro Experience.” The menu is broccoli au gratin, with or without ham; cornbread, and prune cake. The kid’s craft is wind socks. The $5 admission fee includes lunch, speaker, and tour of Grinter Place. Admission is $3 for the speaker and tour only. Grinter Place is at 78th Street and K-32 and overlooks the historic Delaware crossing on the Kansas River.
