OTTAWA — An Olathe man was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital for examination early Thursday after a weather-related crash on I-35 near Ottawa. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Leonard Parmenter, 51, was driving south on I-35 when his car slid on ice on the bridge just north of 15th Street and he lost control. His car struck a guardrail on the driver’s door.
