LENEXA — A 43-year-old Paola woman was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center Thursday when she tried to avoid a collision on I-35 in Lenexa. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Stephanie Adams was driving north on I-35 just south of 95th Street. The highway patrol said a vehicle in the next lane beside Adam’s car make a sudden lane change into Adam’s lane. She tried to avoid the collision, lost control, and struck the concrete barrier wall. Troopers said the other motorist fled the scene.
