TTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission bought 54 acres of land south of the Oottawa Municipal Airport. After an executive session Monday with city manager Richard Nienstedt and city attorney Bob Bezek, commissioners agreed to the purchase. The purchase at 2040 Montana road is with an eye to the city’s plans to eventually extend the airport’s main runway.
